Favourite Flower Photos

~~oOo~~

I have developed an interest in flower photography.
To me it is a form of art and very relaxing.

I love the colours and variety in flowers.
Sometimes it's difficult to photograph them because of the wind but that is a challenge in itself, and there's always photoshop to spruce things up.
😁

I also enjoy making abstract photos.  If you think a pic is fuzzy, intentionally it probably is.  I have an array of Lensbaby Lenses, omni crystals and bokkah discs that create bokkah, soft focus, sweet spot photos surrounded by blur, and distorted images.  I call them my art lenses.

Hubby doesn't really understand my art photography.  He says, "That's out of focus".
I say in my best Kylie Mole accent, "Dah, it's supposed to be like that?"
🙄

I also like to make multiple exposures in-camera.  Flowers are great for this.

These flower photos are from newest to oldest.  I am surprised that some of my oldest photos are pretty darn good!  Please scroll way down.
But the photoshopping technique has improved over the years.
😜

So, below are my favourite flower shots.  I will update them from time to time.  You can find many more on flickr.com/aussirose.
